“Joy of Learning” event was held for students of Class VII. Students exhibited their
skills.

To encourage students towards Telugu as mother tongue workshops were held. Telugu
poem & Story writing workshop was held by Telugu Sahitya Academy and Kothagudem
Club at various venues.

Eight students of our school attended Bharat Scouts & Guides camp on 6 September,
2019 for the Tritiya Sopan Testing for Guides in Khammam.
The Cosmic Cruise-mobile Planetarium arranged a show for all students in December,
2019 to give them a great deal of knowledge about space travel and cosmic energy.

Senior students attended an enrichment programme by Dr. T.P. Sasi kumar, Space

Scientist & Life Mentor on 30 January,2020. He motivated students on True Living.
TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAMMES…Refresh for quality work

To elevate Teachers as Facilitators, Nava Bharat focuses on regular Training workshops &
seminars for the faculty members of the school. Regular updating the changing trends and
enhancing the teaching skills are mandatory in teaching profession. In year 2019-20 the
following Teacher Training Programmes were attended by the Nava Bharat educators.

Principal Sri MVS Reddy attended Principals’ Training Programme in DPS Nacharam,
Secunderabad in May,2019 on the topic PRP for Capacity Building Programmes

Mrs. G.Laxmi Reddy attended Himalaya Wood Badge course Training Programme in
May, 2019 in NTC, Panchmarhi. She was awarded Himalaya Wood Badge & Scarf .

A full day orientation programme was held on 8 June,2019 for the teachers in the
school by the Resource Person Dr Parthasarathi from Oxford University Press on the
topic Classroom Management.

A workshop on Values & adolescent education was held for staff by Mr.Martin , an
associate Resource Person from NCERT.
