To awaken the learner within and to give a dynamic experience, it is essential to make the
teaching-learning journey eventful. Learning goes on along the way, along the journey.
Events on various occasions impart life skills. A student gets quality education beyond the
books by experiencing an eventful voyage with myriad dimensions.

Year 2019-20 blended a lot of educational activities with academics in the curriculum. Every
activity is specially designed with an educational purpose. We believe in wholesome
education. The lines below take you on a journey and give you a Kaleidoscopic view of our
events.

TRIBUTES TO GANDHIJI…. 150 Birth Anniversary celebrations

Nava Bharat paid rich tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on the occasion of his 150 Birth
Anniversary. Little Gandhis went round the Classrooms preaching the ideals of Mahatma.
Quiz on Life History of Mahatma was held. Gandhiji mascot contingent was the highlight on
Sports day. Annual day dramas, songs & dances highlighted the spirit of Swachh Bharat &
Gandhiji. Year long programmes were conducted with due respect to the Father of Nation.
Swachh Nava Bharat was conducted by the senior students on every Wednesday. We believe
that Gandhism becomes a source for value education. Jai Hind.

“JAI JAGAT”……. A Charity drive

NBPS students upheld the spirit of charity by becoming a part of the charity drive “Jai
Jagat”. In the month of August, 2019 Students donated a considerable quality of clothes,
utensils, stationary and provisions for a charity cause. Students visited three oldage homes
in Kothagudem & Paloncha and donated these items to the needy. We also extended our
helping hand to Yuvasena Children Home in Paloncha and donated clothes, provisions
and stationary to the orphan children. Reaching out is our responsibility for we belong to
one Universe. “Jai Jagat”.

GEOFEST…An environmental festival in Lucknow

Nava Bharat sent ten environmental enthusiasts to Lucknow to attend 15 GEOFEST
organized by City Monttessori School, Lucknow in November 2019. Our students got
valuable chance to participate in Collage making, Quiz, Mime, Folk dance, 3D designing
etc. Mrs.K.Gomati & Mrs. R. Lkashmi Sowjanya trained and escorted the students under
the guidance of Mrs.A.Sridevi.
