HUBS OF LEARNING……Unite to emerge
CBSE formed Hubs of learning grouping 6 to 7 neighbouring CBSE schools for sharing of
expertise and resources. Our school is in HOL No. AP-1112. Activities of HOL formally began
in July with maiden meeting of Principals in Khammam. NBPS hosted HOL Inter School

Badminton & Chess Tournament on 30 October, 2019 in Nava Bharat Indoor stadium. NBPS
won the overall championship. We also hosted a workshop for Health & Physical education

departments of the 7 CBSE member schools on Fitness Assessment. The 3 edition of HOL

Principals’ meeting was hosted by our school on 18 December, 2019. Our students attended
a workshop on Art, Craft and Sculpture in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Yetapaka. NBPS
also participated in Inter School HOL Kho-Kho Tournament in HPS, Khammam. This initiative
of CBSE has promoted collaborative learning among CBSE member schools and upheld
the spirit of CBSE philosophy.

BOND with BOND…..”Reading maketh a man perfect”
The Department of English initiated a unique Reading programme “Bond-with-Bond”.
Hundred students with a flair for reading novels were shortlisted for reading books written by
Ruskin Bond. Students read the Books ,wrote the book reviews & drew illustrations.
Mrs.A.Sridevi, HOD –English was blessed with a chance to meet the renowned author Ruskin
Bond in Hyderabad. Selected students are heading to Mussorie to meet “Ruskin Bond”.

Mothers of our LKG students were invited for a Mother Teachers’ Get together on 14 July,
2019. This meeting was held to orient the mothers about wise parenting and forging good
mother-teacher relationship. The custodians of our tiny tots exchanged views on the better
practices of schooling.

novelist Sri Seeramsetty Kantha Rao. Class II students entertained their grandparents with
songs and cute dances. The senior citizens got a chance to relive their childhood.
