MESSAGE
th
I am glad to know that NBPS is bringing out its 14 edition of annual school magazine ‘Navayug’.
I am aware as to how exciting is the publication of a school souvenir and the value it adds to the
routine of the students.
Children should be motivated to grab every opportunity that comes their way which would not
only help in their holistic growth but also strengthen their belief in teamwork, which is important in
this fast-paced world. An institution should be a living place that shapes children’s lives and builds
their character. Therefore to assess the school’s performance only by its high academic scores is not
sufficient, it is equally important for a school to be a place for happy children with a love for learning
and sound value system.
The COVID-19 pandemic is the defining global health crisis and has posed grave challenges in
every field of life. Attending online classes every day has become the ‘new normal’ for students during
the lockdown all over the world. The online classes have taken centre stage in students’ life now. It is
rightly said that home is the first school and school is the second home. In fact, today it has come true.
Our homes have become schools and parents have become teachers too.
We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the parents for their continued support to the institution
and its endeavours. Dear Parents, you have, indeed, walked the extra mile to ensure that our children
make the best use of their time during this pandemic period.
I am glad our school took the initiative to conduct the online classes not wasting any time. The
system for homeworks and tests is also very well established and I have had no issues from the other
end. I commend the staff and students for their multi- dimensional contribution in the sphere of academic
excellence, along with extra curricular activities which completes the process of education.
Apart from Academics, the school is also focusing on the physical and mental growth through
dance, music and calligraphy sessions from time to time, which again shows the kind of dedication
the school and teachers have towards our kids.
Navyug provides our students a stage to bring out their creative thoughts and expression. In fact,
the young talent finds its first exposure through this medium. I congratulate the Principal and the
Editorial team for their hard work and dedication that has resulted in the publication of this issue of
the magazine.
