Inaugural Function

41st Annual Day Celebrations

Good evening every body
Honourable Chief Guest Dr Malla Reddy Pareti, Professor, Dept of Mathematics & Principal, University college of
Engg & Technology, Kakatiya University,
Distinguished Vice President of Nava Bharat Ventures Ltd. Sri Y.Sreenivasa Murthy,
Esteemed Correspondent Mr. Mohammad Ali, Chief Administrator (SD), N B V L,
Honourable members of the School Managing Committee, Respected Parents and Guests, Head Master
Mr G.Nageswara Rao, Members of the staff and my beloved students.
At the outset, I would like to extend my warm greetings to you all on the occasion of ‘Nava Kalamahotsav’,
the 41 Annual Day Celebrations of Nava Bharat Schools.

Ladies and gentlemen, the inaugural function of NBS has been glorified with the presence of our Chief
Guest Prof Malla Reddy sir. He is a personality with a profile larger than the life size. He did his Masters in
Mathematics from Kakatiya university. He received his Doctorate in Mathematics from Osmania University in
1998. He did his postdoctoral research from National Taiwan University, Taipei in 2007.The marathon professional
journey of Dr Reddy began as Lecturer in Mathematics in Osmania university in 1993. After his Post-doctoral in
Taiwan University in 2007, he joined Kakatiya University and has been serving it in various capacities. He served
as Head of Dept of Mathematics, Principal of Univ College of Engg & Tech, chairman of Board of Studies for
Mathematics and coordinator of Quality Assurance Cell of Univ Arts & Sc college . He is currently the Member of
Executive Council of Kakatiya University. During his illustrious career he mentored 2 Post-Doctoral Research
programs, guided 11 Ph.D and M.Phil. Scholars successfully. He has edited and reviewed nearly 10 Journals and
attended several conferences. He co-authored several books and publications.
Nava Bharat feels honoured to have a personality of this stature as Chief guest in this Annual function. Our
students would draw a great deal of inspiration with your presence sir.
Ladies and gentlemen, one more year has been added to the glorious saga of Nava Bharat schools. Today’s
function marks the 41 Annual day celebrations of our schools and the function is aptly titled as ‘Nava
st
Kalamahotsav’, the cultural extravaganza. During their illustrious journey of 41 years, Nava Bharat schools set
benchmarks of excellence in the field of education in the region. My report would be incomplete if I don’t make
a mention of the wonderful team of teachers who work with dedication and put their heart and soul for the
progress of the students given to their care.
The year under review has been one of the fruitful years for Nava Bharat Schools. NBPS registered many
remarkable achievements this year both in curricular and extra curricular fronts.
On Academic Front:
- Academics is the soul of a school and we have reasons to be happy on this count. Nava Bharat Schools
secured excellent results in both AISSE and SSC examinations of March’ 19. All the students performed
very well and achieved commendable results. D. L.S.Sravya, the topper of the school scored 490 upon
500 and set a new school record. It gives me great pleasure to announce that 6 students scored 100% in
Class X. Manogna, Sravya, Krishna Gayathri & Eekshith scored 100 in Telugu, Sravya scored 100 in
