The Nava Bharat Schools celebrated the 44 Annual Sports Day on 14th December, 2023 on
a grand scale. Dr. Priyanka Ala, District Collector of the Bhadradri Kothagudem District was
the chief guest of the day. While Mr. E. Naresh was the guest of honour. The day started
with our Principal Sir Mr. MVS Reddy addressing the gathering, followed by the unfurling the
school flag. Our star athlete B. Keerthi Sri Rathod lit the sports flame, making the beginning
of the event. It was followed by the march past. All the contingents marched vibrantly with
Vijayanagaras leading them. The cabinet took the oath and the chief guest declared the
meet open. This was followed by various athletic events and cultural programme. The meet
came to an end with the prize distribution and lowering the school flag. The blue flag bearers
Satavahanas lifted the march past rolling shield.
The green flagged Kakatiyas celebrated their triumph as they lifted the Ghanshyam Somani
Trophy. The Sports Day instilled teamwork, discipline, hardwork and sportsmanship in the
Nava Bharatians.
